+Figure of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara standing on a lotus plinth with a plain ring halo and a flamed surround. Made of gold with a bronze base and a ruby in the surround. Cast.

+The article in the Sarawak Gazette 28 Feb 1962, p. 68 by Tom Harrisson documents that the bases (1960,0719.1-5 and 1956,1015.1), which were donated by the Sarawak Museum, had the figures removed from them when they were in Singapore and before being acquired separately by the British Museum.
