Description

Cast bronze image of the seated Buddha depicted in bhumisparsamudra. Set on a waisted base decorated with incised lotus petals. At each side are sockets which would once have held attendant small images of the foremost disciples of the Buddha, Sariputra and Maudgalyayana.
