Figure of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara standing on a lotus plinth with a plain ring halo and a flamed surround. Made of gold with a bronze base and a ruby in the surround. Cast.

发现地：Sambas，Borneo，Kalimantan

The article in the Sarawak Gazette 28 Feb 1962, p. 68 by Tom Harrisson documents that the bases (1960,0719.1-5 and 1956,1015.1), which were donated by the Sarawak Museum, had the figures removed from them when they were in Singapore and before being acquired separately by the British Museum.

Tom Harrisson 在 1962 年 2 月 28 日《砂拉越宪报》第 68 页发表的文章中记载，由砂拉越博物馆捐赠的佛座（馆藏编号 1960,0719.1-5 及 1956,1015.1），其上的佛像在新加坡期间、被大英博物馆分别入藏之前即已佚失。
