金剛手菩薩胸口位置可見日月紋，象徵智慧與慈悲，形象罕見，示意金剛手不僅為重要的護法，亦是得道的佛陀。一尊微小的阿閦佛端坐於金剛手寶冠之上。此作品以其飽滿的蓮瓣、底座的滾珠紋、以及簡約的裝飾風格展現出印度帕拉藝術風格對西藏早期造像的影響。

Unusual for sculptures of Vajrapani, the caster has depicted the sun and moon on Vajrapani's chest, representing the union of Wisdom and Compassion. These symbols allude to Vajrapani's status, not only as Buddhism's foremost protector, but also an enlightened Buddha. An effigy of Akshobhya presides within his crown. This early Tibetan sculpture draws inspiration from Pala Indian models, with its plump lotus petals between beaded rims and its emphasis on a lightly adorned full figure.
