A copper alloy figure of Vajradhara
Qing, Pala Revival, 18th century
Finely cast in a rich copper alloy, seated in vajrasana on a stepped and waisted double lotus throne, his down-turned face fixing upon the vajra and ghanta held before his chest, his face with remains of pigment and gold surmounted by a refined five leaf crown and elaborate jatamukata with jewel finial.
